The Utah Animal Adoption Center (UAAC) began in 1983 as "Help Save the Animals" and received its 501(c)(3) status in 1985. Our mission is to eliminate the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable dogs and cats through rescue, spaying/neutering, education, and adoption.

We are located in Salt Lake City/Salt Lake County and serve communities throughout the state of Utah.

Additional adoption info

Our Dogs are $125 for small dogs, $100 for large dogs, and $150 for puppies. Our Cats are $75 and kittens are $100. The adoption fees for the Dogs and Cats cover spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies), a physical exam and microchip. Our contract requires that should adopters not be able to keep the adopted pet, they will return him or her to us. We are committed to these pets for their entire lives.
