Big Paw Big Heart K9 Rescue's Adoption Process

Our fee for each furry friend varies. We are a very small rescue and the fees are considerably less than other rescues because we only have 1-2 dogs at a time to care for. The fee includes the vet expenses and any other expense that during the stay of the dog at the rescue.
Our adoption policy is as follows; a contract application is filled out, checked, and either accepted or denied. A meet & greet is scheduled to give your family and the potential new family member (dog) a chance to introduce yourselves to each other. If this goes well, a home check is the scheduled. A member of the Big Paw Big Heart Rescue will schedule a home visit to ensure that the home is safe for the arrival of your new 4 legged family member.

About Big Paw Big Heart K9 Rescue

We are a small K9 rescue. Our goal is to rescue one dog at a time. Our dogs are rescued from euthenasia, neglect, abandonment, etc. We ensure that each dog that is rescued is nuetered/ spayed, and has all vaccines. We get to know the canine and their temperment towards humans, kitties and other dogs. We then place the dog in the best possible hone for both the dog and the adoptive family.

Come Meet Big Paw Big Heart K9 Rescue's Pets

We volunteer with K9Ohana Rescue as well as with Hope Rescue. We here at Big Paw Big Heart usually do not have enough dogs to organize an adoption event, but we do help out with others events. As we find out dates for those events, they will be listed here.
