Shelter FAQs

Our shelter opened in 1984. We have 3 full time Animal Control Officers and 1 part-time office assistant. We have a strong volunteer base run by Paradise Animal Shelter Helpers,(PASH). They pay for the altering of all shelter animals and any medical care while they are in our care. We may be an older and smaller shelter, however our love for our animals is apparent.
We are open Tuesday- Saturday 11am-3pm. Adoptions & licensing 11am-3pm. Surrendered animals will only be accepted from within Paradise town limits.

Additional adoption info

Dog Adoptions - $65.00

Cat Adoptions - $36.00

Adoption includes microchip.

All animals are altered prior to leaving the shelter for adoption.

All adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.

Donations can be made with cash, check, Visa, MC and Discover.
