We are a Self-Funded rescue that serves Portales, NM and surrounding areas. Our mission is to save dogs on death row in the Portales pound and move them out into new, loving, forever homes as soon as possible!!

To go through our adoption process you must sit down for 2 meet and greets. One at the foster home one at a public park or nutral territory with any other animals you have. Then we do adoption paperwork, followed by a home visit. After we complete these simple and mostly fun steps you take home your new family member with no worries!!
Our contract entitles:
Spay or Neuter,
Vaccinations,
and a minimum donation amount of 50 dollas.
The cost of each pet is based soley on the time spent in the rescue, amount of heath care recieved, and their location. (pound or foster family)
Any animal in the pound will have a DOGGY DISCOUNT of 50%!! Which could mean 25 dollars for a PUREBRED DOG!!

Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
