As per most rescue organizations we have an adoption application we ask all potential adopters to fill out. Upon approval we have an adoption contract we have all adopters sign. Our adoption fees are generally $350.00 which helps cover the cost of feeding, vaccinating and spay/neutering the animals in our care, although our adoption fee for senior animals is generally lower.

About One At A Time Pet Rescue
We are a newly formed, not for profit, pet rescue. We are not breed specific, and will help any furry creature that comes our way although our biggest focus is on dogs and cats. We strive to make the best match possible between adopters and their new pets. We offer life long support and will do anything in our power to help make an adoption work. After spending 2 years fostering with another rescue we decided it was time to go our own way, so in turn even more animals can be saved. We realize there is a huge need for safe places for these homeless pets as the pet over population grows each day. In just a few short months we've helped place many pets, and are dedicated to continuing . We offer our home to each and every animal until a forever home can be found, whether it takes months or even years. Most of the animals we take in come from shelters and pounds who no longer have the room for them. We are hear to help stop the needless euthanizing of wonderful animals, and to help stop the pet over population, one at a time!

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
