Boone Area Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. We are a no-kill shelter and are always looking for volunteers to join our team. Additional adoption info

To adopt one of our pets and rent we ask that you have landlord approval. If you have pets at home already they'll need to be up-to-date on their vaccinations.

We like to make sure you and your pet are a good match! We'll spend time finding out what kind of pet you are looking for and if the pet you picked out will fit your lifestyle.

Dog adoption is $95 to include spay/neuter, all vaccinations except rabies, heartworm testing and microchipping.

Adult cats (6 months and older) are $50 and include spay/neuter, all vaccinations except rabies, feluk testing and microchipping.

KIttens are $75 include spay/neuter, all vaccinations except rabies, feluk testing and microchipping.
