ADOPTING THAT "FOREVER" FRIEND
NOAH'S ARC has many wonderful dogs and cats in need of good homes. Our adoption donation for both dogs and cats is $50.00 per animal. This fee includes all current vaccinations and having each pet spayed/neutered. If a pet is not old enough at the time of adoption to have been spayed/neutered, we will follow-up and complete this service when the pet reaches the proper age. (All pets adopted from Noah's Arc must be spayed/neutered.) It is our goal to find safe, happy, loving homes for all our pets, and in order to do so we must evaluate each prospective home on an individual basis for approval. Adoption applications and contracts are required. Cats are adopted primarily to indoor homes. Dogs are required to be housed in safe areas; indoors, fenced yards, or pens. Noah's Arc dogs cannot be chained. We require a fenced yard for almost all dog adoptions. Occasional, RARE exceptions are made, but they are the exception. Please, respect our decisions regarding the needs of our pets. We are funded solely from donations and fundraisers with 100% of money raised going directly to improving the health and lives of rescued animals. What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
