Rescue FAQs

We are a non-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of large breed dogs on Florida's Green Mile(Death Row)We do not have a facility and rely solely on fosters. Although we will help any breed, our main focus is large breed dogs including rare Mastiffs-Neapolitan,Fila Brasileiro,Dogo Argentino,Cane Corso's,Presa Canario, Boerboel, Tibetan Mastiff, and Leonberger. We also take in Bully Breeds(English Bulldog,English Bull Terriers, etc.) We visit shelters and seek out these breeds that are hours sometimes minutes from being euthanized. We will also accept owner surrenders when we have sufficient fosters. I do this because they have no voice,no choice for the circumstance that they are in and many times no hope left when i find them.To see their faces when they hit the front door of that shelter and know that they have been spared is an unexplainable feeling.I have shed many tears for the one's i've had to leave behind, but move on knowing more will need me in days, weeks and months to come.I have dedicated my life to the welfare of animals.I have worked in rescue for 20+ years and have pulled and helped to place thousands of dogs over that time.My hope is that one day my services will not be needed.
