Rescue FAQs

We are concerned pet lovers who decided to step in & help when we moved to the Coastal Bend area & saw how many pets are running stray here. At present we are preparing to file paperwork for 501(c)3 status.All costs for pet food,vet bills,etc currently come from our own pocket or the donations of nice caring individuals who wish to help out our cause.
We serve the Corpus Christi Coastal Bend area, mainly North of the causeway:Portland,Gregory, Taft, Sinton,Odem,Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Rockport,Fulton

Additional adoption info

We do have an adoption contract stating you must provide the adopted pet with proper shelter from the elements, good food & water & vet care when needed(regular vaccines,heartworm prevention,etc).The pet should become a family member, not to be chained up outside.The pet must have a properly fenced yard or safe play area when outside.If unable to keep the pet, the pet is to be returned to us.Adoption fee is usually $40, to cover our costs for vaccines, flea/tick prevention,etc,
