Rescue FAQs

We are a organization on a mission to work with our community to rescue orphaned dogs from local 'kill shelters' and adopt them to forever homes fitting the criteria set forth by the organization. We will also promote communication between shelters and rescue groups to help find orphaned animals forever homes. One of our future goals is pairing at-risk youth with special dogs to train, which will increase the dogs adopt-ability and help the youth to gain respect and compassion for living things. Another goal, is to have a therapy group of rescued dogs in the community to visit long term care facilities and hospitals in the area to provide healing therapy to patients. One of our future goals is to set up low cost/no cost adoption programs for elderly individuals in the community as well as a low cost feeding program for these individuals.
We work with Shelters across the State of Alabama, and Tennessee. We are located in Cullman, AL and serve Birmingham, Huntsville, Athens, and many other Counties. We try to provide rescue for animals that are "out of time" at the shelters. We work with a variety of rescue groups to save as many animals as we possibly can.

Additional adoption info

We have a pre-sreening form, an application for adoption, and an adoption contract. We also retain the right to do home visits if we feel it is deemed neccessary. All our animals Currently have a $125.00 adoption fee.
