I started this rescue because of the obvious need in the community that I live in. We are committed to the needs of our animals first and foremost. Educating the community runs a close second to this.

Rescue FAQs

We are a volunteer run 501c3 organization that takes in needy animals. We treat their physical and emotional needs and then offer them for adoption to pre-screened homes.

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application, an inspection of the potential new home. This application is extensive and will ask for your veterinarians name among other information. There is no fee for this application.
Our contract states that the adopted animal may not be sold or given away under any circumstances and will be returned to D-S Rescue if for any reason the animal cannot be kept. The adoption fees vary depending on the animal adopted.
