Shelter FAQs

The mission of The Little Guild is to provide loving care for homeless animals in Litchfield County, CT. In addition to caring for animals, we also strive to educate the public on the need to spay/neuter, vaccinate and take good care of the animals they have.
We serve all of the 17 towns in LItchfield County, and beyond when needed. We have been saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats for 50 years.

Additional adoption info

An adoption application can be received via email, fax or mail by request. the application is also available on our webpage- www.littleguild,org. All vaccines, heartworm and fecal tests, bloodwork when necessary, spay/neuter - all have been taken care of prior to adoption. Fees vary with the age of the animal so please contact us to confirm.
