Five Acres Animal Shelter was formerly known as the St. Charles Humane Society. We are the only no-kill shelter in St. Charles County. Our mission is to enrich the lives of pets in need and families with thoughtful placement through C.A.R.E. - Compassion, Advocacy, Responsibility and Education.
We are located in St. Charles County, but serve the Greater St. Louis Area.
