Rescue FAQs
Animals in Distress is a 501(c)(3), all volunteer, non-profit organization that has serviced the Mercer County area for more than 50 years. Established in 1969, we are one of the oldest rescue groups in the area. Our primary focus has been the rescue of abandoned, abused and neglected cats and kittens.
We are based in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, NJ & service the Hamilton Township area.
