Rescue FAQs

The Northern Virginia Pomeranian Club is a breed specialty club serving the Northern Virginia area. The Northern Virginia Pomeranian Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization. NOVA Pom is working to become a licensed American Kennel Club (AKC) local specialty club. Our parent club is The American Pomeranian Club. NOVA Pom is dedicated to promoting the Pomeranian breed in its many aspects. Membership is open to all who love Poms.
Although based in Nokesville in Northern Virginia, our rescue serves most of the state of Virginia, especially the areas along the I-95 corridor. Our goal is to find loving forever homes for the Pomeranians that come into our care. We do occasionally also have other small breed dogs looking for homes.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees and adoption application can be found at http://novapom.awardspace.us/rescue.html . You will also find there a list of all the dogs that we currently have for adoption. Please fill out an adoption application and return it to us so that we can set up a home inspection, which is required before you can adopt one of our dogs. The home inspection is intended to ensure that the dog is a good fit for your lifestyle, home and family. If you would like to meet any of our dogs, please contact the foster contact listed for each dog.
