4DogSakes Rescue is a 501c3 located in San Antonio, Texas where we rescue, rehome, shelter and transport to Colorado and Washington the most urgent dogs from local and regional partners. All of our rescues are judged on temperament and adoptability, not by breed - so we typically have a diverse group of dogs in need of homes. We ensure that each rescue is current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, groomed, treated with flea/tick preventative, microchipped and heartworm tested. We firmly believe that dogs are our best friends and should be treated with love and respect and appreciated for their different stories. 4DogSakes Rescue is committed to finding the best placements for the dogs in rescue, no matter how long that may take. We also work with humane shelter and rescue partners in Colorado, Washington, Oregon and Wisconsin to transport healthy dogs to areas where pet overpopulation isn't the issue we have in Texas. Our rescue operations are funded through individual donations and programs and services - so we greatly appreciate any support of our activities. The costs for care, feeding, transport and medical attention does add up! Thank you for your interest in our adoptable pets and 4DogSakes Rescue!
