Shelter FAQs

We are a county run facility with 46 runs. We take in strays, and owner surrenders of Lancaster County. Our main goal here at the shelter is to save as MANY lives as we can. Every animal that is brought to us, we treat it like it is our own, and work to make sure that animal has the best life/home when it leaves here.

Additional adoption info

ALL dog adoptions (adults or puppies) are $100.00. Includes spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, de-wormer, and Heart-worm Test (6 months or older). ALL DOGS ADOPTED WILL BE SPAY/NEUTERED BEFORE ADOPTION. NO EXCEPTIONS

ALL cat adoptions are $80.00 which includes spay/neuter, rabies, FIV/FELV test, de-wormer, and microchip. ALL CATS WILL BE SPAY/NEUTERED BEFORE ADOPTION.
