Shelter FAQs

The Comfie Cat Shelter is a no-kill shelter founded in 2005 to address the issue of the over population of abandoned cats. The shelter was established because the number of cats being abandoned or neglected is increasing every year. We reduce the homeless population of cats in Orillia and surrounding areas to create a better quality of life for these beautiful creatures. Our not-for-profit organization/corporation is a registered charity driven by 100% volunteer work and contributions.
We serve Orillia, Barrie, Muskoka and the immediate surrounding areas.
