Muscatine Humane Society

The mission of the Muscatine Humane Society is to educate the public of the importance and dire necessity to spay and neuter their animals to prevent the needless suffering that follows pet overpopulation. Concurrently, the society provides a safe haven for lost or abandoned animals until thier owners or new homes can be obtained. We serve 2000 homeless pets annually.

Additional adoption info

All of our pets are vet checked and spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested,and temperament tested prior to adoption. As of Jan1,2021all dogs are $185.Cats are $35either way. We do require a pre-adoption application and we do have an adoption contract also.
