Rescue FAQs

ARF is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) all volunteer organization. Our rescue/adoption sanctuary is home to an average of 30 cats/kittens and 15-25 rescue dogs. Some rescues are kept in foster homes. We are located on 18 acres which includes our rescue/adoption sanctuary and a 5-acre membership dog park. Future plans include additional buildings and a memorial park. We do not receive any monetary assistance from city, county or state agencies. Our rescue/adoption facility is operated by volunteers who are willing to open their hearts to care for those who have been abandoned. Some will be adopted and some will never be adopted, but they will always have a safe and loving home at ARF. We believe that the spay or neuter of pets is the only solution to pet overpopulation.
