See Spot Rescued is a 501(c)3 non profit all volunteer rescue organization. We’re a foster based rescue, so every dog in our care lives in a nurturing home, surrounded by love and support, until they’re adopted. Our mission is simple: every dog deserves a second chance. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters in North Carolina, West Virginia, Texas, and New York. Once a dog is in our care, they never return to a shelter. While in foster care, dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We focus on making the best possible match between the dog and their future family, ensuring a lifelong bond built on love. At SSR, we put each dogs needs first, our goal is to find them a permanent, loving home where they will be cherished forever.
