Angels Among Us Animal Sanctuary

Our rescue focuses on senior dog adoption and hospice care. We pull most of our rescue dogs from high kill shelters where seniors have no chance of adoption. We also take owner surrenders when the owner can no longer care for their senior dog. We have foster homes in several states for our adoptable seniors. We are especially proud of our "Seniors for Seniors" Program where we match our adoptable senior dogs with senior citizens. We have fundraising events so that we can donate the vetting for this program. We rescue dogs with special needs who are blind, deaf, arthritic, diabetic...as well as dogs with serious illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, etc. We have three foster homes that specialize in the care of our Resident Angels, our hospice cases. We are an all volunteer organization, and we are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and help with fundraising.

We adopt to approved homes in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and surrounding areas. We adopt to other areas providing we can find a rescue friend to conduct the home visit for us.
