Potential adopters are required to complete an adoption application. We require three personal references as well as a vet reference. Once approved, there is an adoption contract and adoption fee for each dog or cat going to his or her new home.

Furry Friends Pet Rescue, Inc. is a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing companion animals from high kill shelters. They are then placed in loving foster homes until the right forever home is found. All our pups have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, are current on all vaccinations, have been dewormed and are current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. They have also been treated for ANY known medical conditions. Our pups from out of state have satisfied the required quarantine period and received health certificates from a licensed veterinarian prior to traveling to NY.
