Team Bedford - Supporting the Bedford Animal Shelter's Adoption Process

You do not have to be a resident of Bedford to adopt. Adoption fees are $60 for all animals and adopters receive a $10 voucher to go towards the cost of a rabies vaccination and a $25 voucher to go towards the costs of the spay/neuter surgery.

ALL ADOPTED ANIMALS MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED WITHIN A SPECIFIED TIME OR CITATIONS WILL BE ISSUED TO THE ADOPTER.

Bedford residents must also purchase a $5 city license. All other vaccinations and health services are the adopter's responsibility. Not all animals that are currently available for adoption are listed on the webpage, so please visit the shelter to see every animal.

Come Meet Team Bedford - Supporting the Bedford Animal Shelter's Pets

The Bedford Animal Shelter will be hosting our annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 20th from 10 am to 2 pm at the shelter. (1809 Reliance Parkway, Bedford)

We will have free hamburgers, hotdogs, popcorn & drinks, activities for the kids and your dogs, demonstrations plus a local veterinarian for Q&A. Most importantly we will have dogs and cats who will be hoping for a home that day!
