Rescue FAQs

We would all like to thank-you for your interest in dog rescue. I started this rescue to help place dogs in their "Furever Homes." Together with two other board members and wonderful volunteers we are slowly moving forward in our mission. We do a very thorough evaluation that sometimes requires 2 weeks to a couple months to get a feel for the dogs temperament. Our goal is to place our dogs in their "Furever Home" the first time!

We serve Southeastern Wisconsin areas.

Additional adoption info

Our dogs all have a fee of $275.00 for puppies - age 4, and $125.00 ages 5 & up. These costs are to help provide medical attention, shots, spay/neuter, medication and specialized training for the dogs that come through. (Some unfortunately may need more than others.)

If you find a dog you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at our website: fureverhomefinders.com. Our adoption coordinator will then look over your application, checking references, including any vets you may have used for current or prior animals. Then we will schedule a home visit to making sure you can provide the proper care for the dog. Then we will schedule a meet and greet and the foster family will bring the dog to you to see how the dog interacts in your surroundings. If everything goes well you will then have the opportunity to adopt the dog into your family.
