Additional adoption info
One More Dog Rescue (OMD), formerly Ruff Start Happy Tails, requires all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application and agree to a home visit prior to any adoption. Once the application is approved, a meet and greet will be scheduled between the potential adopter (s) and the dog.
When a dog is adopted through One More Dog, an adoption contract must be signed, and we ask that a donation in the amount of $500 ($350 for seniors) be made at the time of adoption to help our rescue cover a portion of the costs we incur through pull fees, vetting, and training.

*We will adopt to approved applicants (who are able to meet & adopt in person) who live in CT and the surrounding areas: New England, New York, and New Jersey.
