Rescue FAQs

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs. Woodle's Legacy Dog Rescue was founded in memory of a beloved little Malti-Poo nick-named "Woodle". She was my very first dog I rescued over 15 years ago. Since then I have helped foster and place many dogs on my own and with other rescue groups.
We are a rescue group located in the northern San Joaquin valley. We are located 40 minutes south of Sacramento, and 30 minutes north of Modesto California. Thank you for using www.adoptapet.com to find your new pet!

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process involves an initial adoption application and/or phone interview. Then,if all is a go after meeting with the dog, an adoption contract is signed. Fees for the dogs are based on the dogs age, sex and breed. All dogs are brought up to date with vaccines and are spayed or neutered before leaving the rescue.
