Georgia Humane Society's Adoption Process

All of our adoptable pets are disease tested, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, spayed or neutered and microchipped. Adoption fees for dogs are $200 and include all vetting and a 30 day complimentary health insurance policy that covers up to $750 of medical/vet services for illness within first 30 days of adoption. Our cat adoption fees are $150 and includes all initial vetting as well and also comes with 30 day health insurance policy with same coverage. People interested in adopting need to fill out adoption application on our website so that we can make sure that the pet you are interested in adopting is a good match for you both (i.e. if good with other pets, kids, etc)

Come Meet Georgia Humane Society's Pets

Our pets are placed into a foster home until adopted. We feature our pets on and we also hold adoptions every weekend at Petsmart on Howell Mill Road in Atlanta at the Castlegate Shopping Center. We also arrange adoptions during the week through a pet's foster parent if adopters would like to adopt a pet during the week.
