Rescue FAQs
I began rescuing dogs and cats in 1992 and have not stopped. All funding is private and provided by my job as a plumber. We often work with other rescues and have a close relationship with The Cat Network.
Ugly Mutt Rescue is a small rescue group that tries hard to place as many dogs and cats as possible. It is run in my home, We foster our dogs in a family setting and socialize them in order to facilitate adoptions with children, cats, and other dogs.
Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is simple and requires a mandatory home visit to insure a proper fit. Compatibility is absolutely necessary! We will accept any dog or cat that does not fit into a home as expected - no questions asked. There is a $50 adoption fee.
