Rescue FAQs

Feline Friendz in Nebraska is comprised of dedicated volunteers whose mission is to end the killing of cats and be their advocate for their humane treatment. Our organization strongly supports the principle of Trap-Neuter-Return(TNR) as the humane solution when dealing with the feral and abandoned cat population in Omaha and surrounding communities.
Feline Friendz in Nebraska was founded in 2002 and is a 501(c)3 all volunteer rescue organization. We are a true no kill rescue operation. This means the only reason a cat would be put down is in the case of a serious/non curable medical condition. All cats in the care of FFiNE will receive full veterinary care, including spay/neuter, all vaccinations and testing for feline leukemia and FIV infection. As a non-profit organization we rely heavily on private donations and volunteers to keep our mission on track. FFiNE is the only rescue group in the Omaha area dedicated solely to felines and TNR. We serve Omaha & the surrounding communities.
