SASS Rescue is a Non Profit Group dedicated to saving the lives of shih tzu from kill shelters, hoarding cases, puppy mills, backyard breeders and occasionally owner surrenders. We provide all the medical care to ensure they are healthy, we house them in our own homes to provide the nurturing they require until they are ready for their permanent homes.

We adopt our dogs to families in the Ohio, Indiana, Michigan areas. WE DO NOT SHIP OUR DOGS ANYWHERE!
Additional adoption info
If you see a furbaby that you are interested in please contact us, we will send you an application to fill out. Once we have received and reviewed the application we will contact to inform you if you have been approved to adopt one of our babies. If you are approved we will set up a time for us to do a visit with you and your family( 2 and 4 legged members). Once it is determined that the dog you picked out is a good fit for your family we will then complete the adoption.
