Fox Valley Humane Association's Adoption Process

1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Applications must be completed after an animal is selected in person at our facility.

2. Sign Adoption Contract

Once an animal is selected we will get basic information and have you sign an adoption contract.

3. Take the Pet Home

Once the contract is signed you may take your animal home same day! Specific animals can not be placed on hold for an adopter.

Filling out online applications prior DOES NOT give you a better chance of adopting a specific animal. We encourage you to stop by during our open hours to make a selection of your new pet.

Specific animals can not be placed on hold for an adopter, and will be adopted out to the first ready adopter.
