Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary (FFAS). Five years ago, the founding members of FFAS thought that there must be a better way to care for the animals in our community, and the vision of an animal sanctuary was born. Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary (FFAS) is an animal rescue group formed for the sole purpose of starting an animal sanctuary in Rowan County, North Carolina. FFAS’s vision is to have a safe place for abused and abandoned dogs and cats, while providing health care, spaying/neutering, protection, warmth, care, and love while awaiting adoption. FFAS is a 501 C (3) nonprofit organization.
We serve Rowan County and surrounding areas. Although,we have had adoptions from VA and SC also.
Additional adoption info
We have an adoption application that can be found on our website under the Adopt/Foster tab, you fill it out and email it to volunteer@faithfulfriendsnc.org or fax it to us at 704-630-6200. Once the application is received, we do vet checks on the previous animals you have had in your possession over the last ten years including the ones still in the home. If no animals have been owned we do home visits to make sure the new owner understand everything that comes with adding a new addition to the family. After being approved we call you and notify you, you may then decide which animal that you are interested in adopting. This also can be done at the time of the application.
