The City and Animal Control Department issue Dog Licenses. These may be obtained at the Kerman City Hall, 850 S. Madera Avenue (M-F 8:00-5:00)
The shelter offers humane traps available to rent, for trapping cats only. Trap rentals require an initial refundable deposit of $40.00.
Stray or abandoned animals are held for three (3) days at the Kerman Animal Shelter. If owners do not recover their pets in three days, they are transported to the S.P.C.A Animal Shelter located at 103 S. Hughes, Fresno, CA 93706. The SPCA can be reached at (559) 233-SPCA (7722).

Animal Control responds to complaints and incidents in a timely and appropriate manner. The Kerman Animal Shelter is a temporary holding facility and does not conduct adoptions.
