Rescue FAQs

We are a small rescue based in Maine. We are tax exempt and working on getting our 501 (c)(3) We work at saving animals in kill shelters, as well as others in bad situations that need re-homing. We do all we can to save all we can.

Additional adoption info

We run an initial application, once we get that back we run the vet check and home check, to do all we can do to ensure that our animals are going to the best homes possible. Once all that is complete, we do a meet and greet to make sure the animal matches the new owners to be. If all is well and everyone is happy, we have a contract that has to be adhered to that needs to be signed. The last step is an adoption donation that helps to cover some of the fees that we have had to put into the animal in order to make them adoptable. When all is said and done, we follow up here and there to make sure all is well.
