Rescue FAQs

Our Mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Re-home horses that would otherwise be sent to Slaughter. The horses primarily come from three different sources: Feedlots, Auction Yard and Owner Surrender. We specialize in Off The Track Thoroughbreds (OTTB), although we have taken in other breeds of horses in desperate need. The conditions in which the horses arrive vary greatly from severely emaciated to physically fit and ready for adoption. Due to the cost of rehabilitation, your donations are greatly appreciated.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete an adoption application. Prior to adoption a home visit is required. An adoption contract, with no breeding clause, must be completed at time of adoption.
