Email email@example.com to ask for a link to our online application. No donation is required to apply.
After application is verified /phone interviews done, a Volunteer will schedule a Home Check, Family interview and Meet your existing pets.
All human and canine family members must come to Southern VT to Meet Pet, Meetups are Scheduled on Saturday Mornings in So.VT only.
If meeting pet goes well & all approve then your Adoption can take place that day, Pay fee in cash and sign adoption & care agreement.
We provide starter food, vaccine records and care tips. We provide consultation and follow up for lifetime of pet.
We are a volunteer run rescue that saves kill-sheller, abandoned or unwanted Boxers and other brachycephalic breeds. We give each Boxer the best quality of life in carefully selected volunteer foster homes where they live like family until it's fully vetted, crate trained, rehabilitated & the right forever home is found. We believe no animal should be put to sleep for being stray, homeless, abused, or unclaimed at a kill shelter. We Love all dogs.. But we specialize in rescue of Boxers, English bulldogs, and Boston terriers; Thank you for considering becoming part of our rescue family through adoption!
Due to volunteer time limitations before we can setup a meeting with pets, Submit your Adoption application, then once we have verified info, & had successful home visit we will then setup a meet & greet with Volunteer and potential Boxer/Dog, If all are in agreement that meet and greet is a success adoption can take place that day with payment of adoption donation and singed adoption and care contract.
DOWN THE ROAD, If For ANY reason at ANY time during pet's life you no longer are able to properly care for it, can no longer keep it, or no longer want it, then you dog must be returned to us. We do not permit adopters to re-home dogs to anyone for any reason. DOGS MUST BE RETURNED TO US, because we make a commitment to each dog for it's entire life to look out for it and to protect it.
Please donate generously, the dogs lives depend on it
*All Meetups appointments are Saturday mornings only (we are part time volunteers here who work Full time jobs, have families, pets, kids and other obligations). Additionally, Under no circumstance are potential adopters allowed to visit the foster home. This is for safety and privacy of all concerned.
