Fitchburg Animal Shelter

Hi, I am Amy the Shelter Manager. The only part time paid employee at the shelter. I am fully supported by ACE-Central Ma, a 501c3 organization that focuses on Animal Care & Education. All the volunteers that come to socialize, train, clean, love, photograph and network the animals are from ACE. The shelter is on nearly 6 acres in a country setting. Each day the dogs get a long off leash run in the woods, climbing stone walls and exploring for adventure. We end each session with time in our Quiet Room which is set up like a home den. This is where we work on house manners and some snuggle time on a love seat! We all love these animals, treat them as if they were our own!
