Rescue FAQs

Grand Strand Golden Retriever Rescue (GSGRR) is a group of volunteers located in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of Golden Retrievers into the best homes possible to ensure their loving care for as long as they live. Our volunteers are committed to our Goldens and to the humane treatment of all animals. We work to promote responsible pet ownership within the community through the advocacy of spay/neuter education.
Grand Strand Golden Retriever Rescue serves the coastal regions of South Carolina & North Carolina.

Additional adoption info

Anyone wishing to adopt one of our Goldens must complete an application, phone interview and home visit. We will verify the care of your current or previous pets with your veterinarian, and ensure that any pets in your home have been altered. For more detailed information, please contact the rescue.
