Rescue FAQs
Our mission is to find permanent homes for animals in need, and to enrich lives by strengthening the connection between animals and people through community outreach.
We are a 501c3 nonprofit, foster home based rescue group.
We are a 501c3 nonprofit, foster home based rescue group.
We adopt mostly to families who live in Wisconsin due to their location searches, but we adopt to anyone who will make the trip to meet and adopt a pet who is a good fit. We help animals locally and also from shelters in other states who would otherwise not have a chance at adoption.
Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationSince our animals live in foster homes, this allows you to learn about our available pets and apply.
- Meet the PetThe foster parent or our application team will be in touch with more info and to set up a meeting if it sounds like a match!
- Take the Pet HomeIf you and the pet are a fit, you can take your pet home that day (if they're up to date on vet care) or within a few days.
Additional adoption info
We do our best to make the process smooth for all parties, while discussing individual pets to make good matches.
