Rescue FAQs

Easy Street Horse Rescue is a N.Y. not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We operate strictly from donations from horse lovers and supporters. All support is appreciated, both in-kind donations and monetary. All horses coming through Easy Street Rescue will receive care and rehabilitation prior to being made available for adoption to homes where it is apparent that love and quality care will be given.
Easy Street Horse Rescue is a N.Y. not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We help horses in need throughout New York and then adopt them to loving homes in the northeast U.S.

Additional adoption info

ADOPTION PROCESS: Nothing is written in stone regarding adoption guidelines. Our only goal is to find the best home for the horses that pass through our gates. If you can provide that home, we are more than willing to work with you. The Adoption Donation never covers the costs incurred for the horse, but only attempts to defray some of them so that more horses can be helped.
STEPS: 1) Visit the horse to see if it’s a fit for both horse and adopter
2) Complete Adoption Application (download from web)
3) References checked and Site visit performed

Tax deductible donations to help the horses can be made via PayPal to easystreetrescue@aol.com or mail a check payable to Easy Street Horse Rescue at 109 Langley Road, Amsterdam NY 12010.
