M.A.M.A.S. (MaryAnn Morris Animal Society ) is a rural shelter serving all the communities of Bamberg County South Carolina. We do our best to help and save all that come our way and adopt them out to loving homes through a network of rescue groups and volunteer transports. We are also home to Betty's Fund, a special project within MAMAS dedicated to helping fund the treatment of dogs at MAMAS who test HW positive. MAMAS is asking those with an equally generous heart & love of animals to please make a contribution to Betty's Fund, so that even our HW positive dogs can get the medial treatment they so desperately need to find safe rescues & loving furever homes.

MAMAS will allow animals to leave the shelter intact, provided the new owner agrees to have the animal spayed/neutered after leaving the shelter. These owners are required to leave a $200 deposit, which is refunded when documentation is provided to MAMAS that the surgery has been performed.
