1.

Submit Application

An application can be submitted by visiting our webpage www.crossroadscampus.org and clicking on the "adoption application" link.

2.

Meet the Pet

Once approved, someone from our adoptions team will contact you via email to set up an appointment to meet the pet.
If it's a good fit...

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Adopters will be asked to sign a contract and will be given all medical/microchip information available for the pet.

4.

Pay Fee

Adoption fees listed based on type of pet, age and special considerations.

5.

Take the Pet Home

If we make a match, be prepared to take your pet home the same day you meet him/her.
Please note that we cannot "hold" a pet.

Our adoptable pets are available to meet by appointment at our Crossroads Pets- Shop & Adopt, Pet Retail Store located at 707 Monroe St in Nashville.
If you see a dog or cat that you’d like to meet, please fill out our adoption application
We require 2 references, a vet reference if applicable, and if you rent then a copy of lease and proof of pet deposit. Adoption fees are below, and all animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and have a microchipped.

Adoption Fees:
$200 for dogs under a year old
$150 for dogs a year to 7 years
$100 for dogs over 7 years old
$100 for cats under 6 months old
$90 for cats over 6 months old

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
