Our adoption fees vary for dogs, are $35 for adult cats and are $50 for kittens. Every animal is given required vaccinations and testing and is spayed or neutered prior to adoption. An adoption contract is completed by the adopter to assure the animals will have proper housing and care.

We are an animal shelter for unwanted and often abused cats and kittens and dogs and puppies. We accept all injured or ill animals and we will accept relinquished animals as room permits. Our three main purposes include 1) providing shelter for unwanted animals, 2) providing a low-cost spay/neuter program for animals of low-income families in Scioto County, and 3) providing educational programs for the humane treatment of animals.
