Shelter FAQs

Osceola County Animal Services is an open access animal shelter and field enforcement program. We have a dedicated team of staff members and a vibrant volunteer force, all of whom are focused on the safety of our community and finding the animals left in our charge forever homes.
We serve Osceola County, and the Osceola County area including the cities of Kissimmee and Saint Cloud. We adopt to many other cities and counties.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are conducted at the shelter during a personal visit by a potential adopter.

Adoption Fees:

- Dog $80

- Cats $65

- Small mammals $10

We do require an adoption contract to be signed at the time of adoption.

We also require that you bring your valid Photo ID (Must be at least 18 years of age).

All pets must be paid for at the time of adoptions with cash, local check or Mastercard, Visa or Discover credit or debit cards.

Stray pets: All stray pets are held at the shelter for at least 1 - 3 business days to make sure that the owner can not be found.
