Rescue FAQs

In addition to being a full service feline only veterinary hospital, the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic prides itself on caring about the well being of all cats. We take in around 100 stray cats and kittens every year to be placed into loving permanent homes. All of our kitties receive excellent veterinary care while with us. They will be FELV/FIV tested, vaccinated as appropriate for age, sterilized when appropriate, fecal tested and dewormed, and will be microchipped.
The Ann Arbor Cat Clinic Adoption Program primarily focuses on stray cats and kittens. The majority of our adoptable animals come from Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, but we will offer assistance to kitties from farther away when possible.

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out by all prospective adopters. Once the application is submitted, our adoption coordinator will discuss any questions and pertinent information with you. If approved, there is an adoption fee which helps to offset the costs of veterinary care that the kitties receive while in our care.
