Areas Lake County Animal Shelter Serves

The Lake County Animal Shelter provides for public safety and animal welfare. The shelter promotes responsible pet ownership, reunites lost pets with their families and helps people select a new furry friend. The Animal Shelter is the Countywide receiving facility for housing strays, animals in quarantine and unwanted domestic animals.

Lake County Animal Shelter's Adoption Process

Adoptions are $10.00 for cats and kittens. Cats are buy one, get one free! Dog adoptions are $20. All adoptions include initial vaccines, deworming, rabies vaccine, HW (dog) or FIV/FeLV (cat) testing, microchip, tag, and sterilization. Please stop by to see all of our wonderful animals!

We are closed Wednesdays and holidays.
