Rescue FAQs

East Bay Rabbit Rescue, "The Biggest Little Rabbit Rescue in the East Bay", is located in the SF Bay Area. We have been rescuing rabbits from local shelters and the community since 2009. Last year, we found homes for over 100 rabbits. We are a registered 501(c)3. Our mission is to improve the lives of rabbits by adoption, education and rescue. We have 20+ rabbits in our rescue. Our rabbits, socialized in foster homes, are ready to be a loving part of your family. We welcome both new and experienced bunny guardians. Our rabbits come with our experience and commitment to help you successfully welcome your new family member into your heart and home.
We serve the San Francisco Bay Area.

Additional adoption info

We only adopt to indoor homes. Our rabbits are spayed/neutered and litter box trained and can live as a member of the family, just like a dog or a cat. With good care and lots of love, rabbits can live to be 8-12 years old. We are looking for a lifetime commitment to your rabbit(s). The primary caregiver must be a responsible adult. Our rabbits are spayed/neutered at the time of adoption or as
soon as age permits. The (mandatory!!!) spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee.
