Adopting a pet from our Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center includes spay/neuter, microchipping, and vaccinations!
Check out potential pets online then visit the shelter. There are no animal holds at any time. All adoptions are on a first-come/first-served basis. Visitors may sign in during office hours, but may not visit potential pets until the Adoption Center opens.
Residents be at least 18 years old to adopt. Bring your ID and a leash, collar, or a cat carrier when you come for your meet and greet. You can bring household members and current dogs to your meet and greet too. You'll be able to bring home your new pet the same day!
