Additional adoption info
As Dogs In Crisis, Inc is a volunteer based organization. Although we try to respond immediately or within a few hours, we all have full time jobs. Please be patient as it may be a day or two before we can return your call or email. We do request a minimum adoption donation fee ranging from $150.00 - $200.00 per pet. An adoption application must be completed prior to adoption consideration. We require a home visitation prior to adoption. There is a follow-up visit between 1 and 2 weeks after the adoption. Pending, we may call the adopter to see how everything is going. To ensure a successful adoption, volunteers are available to guide adopters through any behavioral or other issues that may concern them about their new family member. Should the adopter ever need to give up a Dogs In Crisis rescue dogs, They will be required to contact us in ample time to find a new home or foster for the pet.
